Bushfire Disaster in Victoria Australia
The Horse Hound has sent out a special newsletter to all the sites members with a link to the Red Cross donation page. With over 135 people dead and the state totally devestated with one of the worst bushfires in history Australia has already raised millions of dollars to help those in need. Here is a copy of the letter that went out to members of The Horse Hound with the donation link
This is a special edition of our newsletter. With all of the crisis in our country at the moment I thought I would share with you some of the things that have been happening today to assist all those concerned
With extreme weather conditions all over our country our condolences go out to those in Victoria who have lost family and friends, livelihoods and everything they have worked so hard for all their lives. My wife Lynda just told me that in 1 day Red Cross have raised over $10 million in relief. The 4 major banks have donated $1 million each, Telstra 1/2 million and no charge for phone services which at the end of the day could add up to millions alone.
Just as I thinking to myself about donations from the big players in the Racing industry, I have just been told that TABCORP have donated $2million.
There are heaps of other donations pouring in from all over Australia. Makes you proud.
Its my daughters 21st tonight (Monday) and one of her friends who is visiting this evening is in the army up here in Darwin has told me they are deploying more troops to both the disaster zones in Victoria and Queensland. He is not sure if he is going to QLD or VIC at the moment but he is trained in fire fighting so he thinks he is going to VIC.

Okay off the subject of racing for the moment.With the global economy in mild turmoil at the moment and people unsure of what this new year will bring, it is making sense for alot of people to start looking at securing some extra income. Every time you visit the internet you can be bombarded with 1000's of offer all claiming to make you money.Now some of them are all hyped up and claim to make you rich overnight, are they any good? Well yes and no, it really depends on the individual that uses these programs, some one may purchase or subscribe to a service and not get any results whilst another person may make lots of money from it, Why?
